A beautiful statue of Padmasambhava also kown as Guru Rinpoche seated on a lotus throne. His right hand is lifted and holding a five-pronged vajra. The left hand is placed above the lap holding a skull cup filled with nectar of deathless wisdom ornamented with a wish-fulfilling tree. He wears a lotus hat. The tantric katvanga staff rests against his left shoulder. It is a symbol for deities who are half-peaceful half-wrathful. Its top is decorated with a severed head, a decaying head, a dry skull and a surmounting flaming trident. It is one of the most complex symbolic implements of Vajrayana Buddhism. He is wearing a silk cloak, dharma robes and gowns tightened by belts. His eyes are bulging and the third eye can be found on the forehead.
