简介:Ru kiln, one of the five famous kilns,is named for its origin in Ruzhou.
Celestial glaze is a treasure in the traditional Chinese porcelain making process. It is also known as celestial glaze after rain. It is a kind of delicate and meaningful high-temperature blue glaze. The ancient pottery books in China describe the characteristics of celestial glaze as bright as a mirror.
The hexagonal flower steamer in Ru Porcelain originates from bronze steamer. Bronze mash is a drinking vessel popular from Shang Dynasty to Western Zhou Dynasty, and it is a ritual vessel. In Shang and Zhou Dynasties, bronze wares were not ordinary containers, only those with high weight could be used. The whole piece of porcelain was divided into three sections. The upper part was a container with a thin neck, and the middle part was solid.
rchaeologically,it was called a“false belly”. The lower part was a ring foot or a base. Its shape was cylindrical, and its body was high and thin, mostly trumpet-shaped.
Ru Porcelain Flower Festival, especially Hexagonal Flower Festival, has not been handed down very much.
This Ru Porcelain celestial glaze, double animal ears and hexagonal flower dress is tall and elegant in shape, just like a young girl’s Pavilion and elegance. The hexagonal trumpet mouth is like a blooming flower, with lip edge and abdomen in the middle. There are two symmetrical moulding rings in the abdomen. Below the abdomen, there are hexagonal base. The base is shorter than the upper part. The corner of the trumpet is sealed, the low ring foot is covered with glaze, and the three nail marks are yellow and white. According to the firing practice of Ru Porcelain, such upright parts should be padded firing, but this one is burned with nails, and its taste is high. The value of collection investment is of great significance.
