简介：Liu wenxi（October 17，1933 -- July 7，2019），born in shengzhou，zhejiang province，graduated from zhejiang academy of fine arts.He is a leading figure painter in China，one of the representative painters of “zhejiang school of figure painting”，the founder of loess school of painting，and the author of the fifth set of portraits of MAO zedong.He used to be the President of loess painting school art research institute，honorary chairman of shaanxi artists association，honorary President of xi ’an academy of fine arts，professor and doctoral tutor.His major works include chairman MAO and shepherds，people of northern shaanxi，and the giant series of long volumes，people of loess，etc.Liu wenxi died of illness in xi ’an on July 7，2019 at the age of 86.
Liu wenxi was born in shuizhu village，changle town，shengzhou city，zhejiang province in 1933.In 1950，he entered the “yicai school” founded by Mr.Tao xingzhi to study fine arts in Shanghai.Deputies to the seventh and eighth national people’s congresses and experts with outstanding contributions.
Member of the 6th all-china federation of arts and culture，representative of the 4th，5th，6th and 7th national literary congress，member of the 1st Chinese painting art committee of the all-china art association，member of the judging committee of all previous national art exhibitions.
Former vice chairman of China artists association，director of loess art academy，Chairman of Chinese contemporary painting association，honorary chairman of shaanxi artists association，honorary President of xi ’an academy of fine arts，professor and tutor of doctoral students，awarded the title of the first batch of national famous teachers，creator of the fifth set of MAO zedong portraits，art consultant of Chinese talent magazine；Honorary President of shaanxi national art academy，vice mayor of yan ’an，senior art consultant of Beijing tangfeng art museum.
