简介：In his early years，Xu Shichang was a member of the ranks of Zhongju and later Jinshi.He had been Yuan Shikai’s adviser and ally since Yuan Shikai’s small training station.In Guangxu’s thirty-first year（1905），Xu Shichang served as Minister of Military Aircraft.Xu Shichang was well respected by Yuan Shikai.When Yuan Shikai called emperor，he kept away from him by silence.In March 1916，Yuan Shikai was defeated by Yuan Shikai in the five years of the Republic of China.In October 1918，Xu Shichang was elected President of the National Congress of the Republic of China.He ordered a truce in the south，held meetings and conferences the following year.In June of 1922，he resigned by electricity.He retired from the Tianjin Concession to entertain himself with calligraphy and painting.Xu Shichang had a profound foundation in national studies，and he not only wrote books but also established himself.Speech，and study calligraphy，Anyang Yuan Lin’s tombstone “Tomb of the Great President Yuan Gong Shikai” nine characters are Xu Shichang’s handwriting，work in landscape pine and bamboo，such as “Shimen Mountain Lintu Tie” and so on，more than 30 kinds of books have been compiled and carved in his life，such as “Confucianism Case of Qing Dynasty”，“Collection of Returning Farmland to Tang” and “Collection of Shui Zhu Village People”，which are called “literary governance” by later generations.President”.
