The year of the 29 May frost and La Grande Coulure - the result was a production of 11 hl/hectare， or 160 barrels. New wood was used in this vintage. 12.5% alcohol. In the past， I have found it minty， meaty and complex. In 2007， it was fabulously layered and firing on all cylinders. Tannic and yet sweet. Intoxicating depth and with profound mystery. It is a staggeringly beautiful wine. In 2011 at the Château， a nose of undergrowth， rich leaves and coffee beans. And a fabulous taste of roasted coffee， prunes and raisins. Lovely plummy tastes.
