In 2019， I have never had a better bottle （from our own stock， bought in the 1970s， with perfect storage）. Great colour and a true Pauillac First Growth cassis nose， with an affinity to Mouton here. Aromatic Cabernet at its height and headily scented with sublime terroir. A fabulous sensation on the palate， with power， succulence， fruit and...obvious future longevity. An incredible cocoa powder finish - intoxicating really. A sleeping giant - perhaps only dozing. Serena Sutcliffe， MW
