简介：Yang Pengnian, a famous pot maker from Yixing, Jiaqing, Qing Dynasty, and a native of Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province, is good at mixing mud. The tea pot made by him is crystal clear in jade color, elegant in tone and temperament, simple and exquisite in taste. It is of natural interest and is regarded as a treasure by the art forest. He also cooperated with the county magistrate Chen Hongshou (Mansheng), Qu Yingshao (Zizhi), Zhu Jian (Shi Mei), Deng Kui (Fusheng) and others at that time. He carved calligraphy and painting with mature skills and perfect perfection. He was known as ”Peng Nian Pot”, ”Peng Nian Mansheng Pot”, ”Peng Nian Shi Piao Pot” and had a very high reputation and had a great influence on later generations. His work (Feihong Yannian Pot) is now in the Palace Museum.
There are no two pieces in this collection that break through Manson’s eighteen styles. The collection of figures (the boy who made money) is a cornucopia of money trees with auspicious and prosperous intentions. ”The production technology is skilled and exquisite, and has the feeling of pearls being round and jade embellishing”, which can be called a classic masterpiece of Yang Pengnian.
