SHUANGLONGSHOU COINS MADE IN GUANGDONG PROVINCE
This coin is one of the two versions of kuping WT. Since the purpose of minting this coin in guangdong province at that time was to offer it to the qing dynasty to wish the empress dowager cixi longevity, the amount of minting was not large. Most of the COINS were given to the qing dynasty or to the influential officials and dignitaries at that time, but few were used in the folk circulation. On the front side of the coin, the upper end of the bead ring is engraved with four characters "made in guangdong province", and the lower end is engraved with five characters of regular script "kuping WT one and two". On the left and right sides, there is a bat pattern, and inside the bead ring, there are four characters of "guangxu ingot". Silver coin back outside the pearl ring cast double dragon play bead pattern, pearl ring cast a round "life" character. The design of the coin is very distinctive, with a pair of bats on both sides of the front being auspicious. Due to the homonym of bat and fu, the bat pattern cast on the coin surface is intended to take the homonym of "bat" and "fu", which corresponds to the word "shou" on the back, implying "longevity and happiness". Due to the two formats of shou zi shuanglong silver coin, guangxu ingot treasure shou zi shuanglong kuping WT silver coin made in guangdong province is not easy to use, so the casting amount is extremely rare.
