HOUSEHOLD GUANGXUYUAN TREASURY PING1 OR 2 SILVER AND GOLD SAMPLE COINS
In the 29th year of the guangxu reign of the qing dynasty (1903), the general coinmaking factory of the ministry of household had cast a set of jizhong silver COINS, including one coin, five COINS, two COINS, one coin and five COINS in total. This set of one or two silver COINS was commissioned by Osaka coinage general factory in Japan. Since this set of silver COINS has not been issued, only a very small number of sample silver COINS exist in the world for many years, which has been a rare item among the mechanism COINS in modern China. Along with the silver sample coin of guangxu gold ingot, there are gold sample COINS of guangxu gold ingot which are trial cast with gold plate. Since the seventies, the ministry of household appeared at home and abroad one or two gold sample COINS less than 10, are circulated. At present, only private collection records. Very precious.
