GUANGXU SILVER COINS WEIGH ONE OR TWO
Guangxu yuanbao was one of the currencies in circulation during the reign of emperor guangxu of the qing dynasty. Zhang zhidong, governor of hubei province and guangdong province, was the first to introduce the British coinage machine to cast silver and copper yuan. Altogether 19 provincial bureau are cast, divide central door ministry, place of place province is cast copper yuan, all engrave province name on its front edge. This lot is WT 1-2 without inscribed provincial name.
