This "hong xian era of the Chinese empire" coin, silver, round, front molded yuan shikai wearing military decoration bust, back molded dragon decoration, top engraved "Chinese empire", bottom engraved "hong xian era". Yuan shikai had accepted the imperial title in December 1915, changed the national title "Chinese empire", changed 1916 to "hong xian first year", and planned to coronation on the New Year's day 1916 coronation, this silver coin should be his coronation coin.
