This coin is of one or two weights of kuping. Since the purpose of casting this coin in guangdong province was to offer it to the qing dynasty to wish empress dowager cixi longevity， the amount of casting was not large. Most of the COINS were offered to the qing dynasty or given to the influential officials and dignitaries at that time， but few were seen in the folk circulation. The silver coin positive bead ring outside the upper end engraved“made in guangdong province”four words， the lower end engraved regular script“kuping heavy one two”five words， left and right sides engraved with a bat pattern， the bead ring cast“guangxu ingot”four words. Silver coin back outside the pearl ring cast double dragon play bead pattern， pearl ring cast a round“life”character. The design of the coin is very distinctive， with a pair of bats on both sides of the front being auspicious. Due to the homonym of bat and fu， the bat pattern cast on the coin surface is intended to take the homonym of“bat”and“fu”， which corresponds to the word“shou”on the back， implying“longevity and happiness”.
