简介：Sword lattice: commonly known as the guard， the ancient name of headstock， lattice. As a prominent part of the guard hand， the finger blade and the grip handle are designed to prevent the two swords from stabbing the grip hand when they meet each other. Another important function is to prevent the hand from sliding onto the blade when stabbing. A few swords produced in modern Longquan draw lessons from modern practices. There are tenons near the latter to lock the sheath of the sword and prevent the body from sliding out of the sheath. Handguard is the visual center of the whole sword， and it is also the focus of the master’s ingenious design and decoration to show the cultural connotation of the name and meaning of the sword. Later， it is mostly used to guard against evil spirits in towns and houses.
