简介： This collection is Zhao Mengxi’s Qingming River Map Qingming River Map. It is 25.2 cm wide and 528.7 cm long. It depicts the prosperity of the Qingming season at that time. It is a witness to the prosperity of Beijing in that year and is also a portrayal of the urban economy of the Northern Song Dynasty. This is unique in the history of Chinese and even world painting. In the five-meter-long scroll， a total of 814 colorful characters were painted， 73 cattle， mules， donkeys and other livestock， more than 20 cars and sedan cars， and 29 ships of large and small size. Houses， bridges， towers， etc. have their own characteristics， and they also reflect the characteristics of the Song Dynasty architecture at that time. In the form of a long volume， the work uses a scattered perspective composition method to vividly record the urban appearance of Beijing in the Northern Song Dynasty in the 12th century and the living conditions of people from all walks of life at that time. The artistic and historical research value of this volume“Qingming Shanghe Map”is unmatched by other imitations.
