The refining process in the song dynasty made the purity of silver up to about 92%. The government before the song dynasty did not allow people to have a large amount of silver， so the process in the song dynasty was delicate and complicated. The silver bowl has been preserved to this day， especially the one with dragon pattern， which was used by the emperor. After oxidation， the silver in the song dynasty was black and shiny， bright with purple and dull.
